You Rock!

Man Shell, I'm so proud of you. I actually wanted to be there, but couldn't swing it. That must be an amazing feeling! I could never do that. Sore?

I love the Easter pictures. The one in the driveway, is where I kicked you! I've felt bad all these years, but when I see you were kickin it with some high heels, I don't feel so bad. Man I wanted those shoes!

Working like crazy, and taking side jobs. My tuition is due 5/22, so I'm doing everything but turning tricks to earn extra money.

I haven't picked up my knitting in a week. Some days, I don't even sit down. I miss it!

Love you,

We Did It!

Amazing experience and I'm so glad I did it. We finished in 3:22:01 which was better that we hoped had I been healthy, but really great with the stress fracture. Can't wait to do it next year and try to break 3 hrs!

Pre-1/2 Marathon Report

Well, tomorrow is the big day. My friend and I got our official number, and timing chip, and are ready to go. I got some professional insoles that seem to help my heels, so we will just see if the bum foot holds up. Luckily, the rain that is coming is now supposed to be delayed, so we may make it through dry. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some pictures of me crossing the finish line! I still can't believe we are doing this!

Easter's From Days Gone By

Hey Sissy,

I don't remember getting the "Easter D.K.", but I guess that was my payback for "The Bladder" incident.

You brought up old Easter's so had to pull out the Easter collage.
First of course is the cutest picture. With the exception of Mom putting me in pink yet again!. Got to love the glubs and purse though.

Easter at Nana's circa 1970ish. Had to pull out the "cape picture". I was stylin'. This was the stage when Mom let me have "girl hair" and Steph got stuck with the "boy hair haircut". Probably why she looks miserable. Plus, I had the cape. :)

Here is Easter in Va Beach.
My first pair of platform sandals.
My first bra too. I felt so grown up.

Too bad I had the bod of a 12 year old boy.

Here is my attempt at the "flip the head and give a model pose". Must have been a bright day since we are all at "half-mast" squinting at the camera. We were at an Easter Eg hunt at the golf course. I being the mature teenager refused to take place and stood with the adults.

Mom, nice Betty Ford hair.

Love to all, Shelly

Happy Easter Shell!

Hi ,

Happy Easter. I miss Easters' from when we were kids. Remember the time in VA. Beach, we were hunting eggs, and I did the cart wheel and kicked you in the face? AHH memories! Oh yeah, and our "Nana suits"! Polyester is so underappreciated.

Hope all is well in "Tornado Town". All you need now is a little black dog, and a tin man, or any man for that matter :)!

I've been working like crazy, and Mr. Graham is back on days. Life is looking normal. Well, normal for us. Ed came home and said, I swear he said this, "babe, I was talking to this guy downtown, and he breeds miniature donkeys, and they live in the house. We should get one". Gotta love a guy who says that with a straight face.

I've started a knitalong over at Craftster, started by Emm. It's the cable hoodie from "Street Smart" (Photo above) . Since I had the book, and stash yarn, I jumped in. I'm 1/3 of the way up the back.
Kissy Sissy,
